Canal de Billy Currington
Billy Currington (born William Matthew Currington, November 19, 1973) is an American country singer-songwriter. Signed to Mercury Nashville Records in 2003, Currington has released two studio albums for the label: 2003's Billy Currington and 2005's Doin' Somethin' Right. These two albums have produced five singles for Currington on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including the Number One hits "Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right" and "Good Directions". He has also charted as a duet partner on Shania Twain's "Party for Two", and two singles intended for a forthcoming third album, for a total of eight Top 40 country hits.
Billy Currington was born and raised in Rincon, Georgia, and has four sisters and two brothers. He currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee. His mother married Larry Currington when he was only one and a half years old. For the next few years, Currington suffered abuse from his alcoholic step father, who later died from cancer.[citation needed]
