DLG (Dark Latin Groove) Is an innovative Salsa band that mixes salsa, reggae, reggaeton, and hip-hop. The group was brought together in New York by producer Sergio George (who also signed them to his record company Sir George Records) and included Huey Dunbar, Fragancia, and James "Da Barba" de Jesus. Their hits included "La quiero a morir", "Juliana", "No morirá", "Volveré", "Todo mi corazón", and Ricardo Montaner's "Me va a extrañar". After their third album in 2000, lead singer Huey Dunbar decided to break away from DLG to pursue a solo career. This essentially led to the breakup of the entire group, shocking and disappointing many fans over Latin America.
