Fred Schneider III (born July 1, 1951 in Newark, New Jersey) is best known as the frontman of the rock band The B-52s, of which he is a founding member. Schneider is well-known for his sprechgesang. Fred Schneider has released two solo albums and is currently working on a side project called The Del Morons. The debut single from The Del Morons, "Totally Nude Island", will be available as a digital download in late 2008, with an EP to follow in 2009.
