Holly Brook is a multi-instrumental singer-songwriter from Mazomanie, Wisconsin.Involved in music at an early age, Brook performed professionally as a child in a folk duo with her mother called Generations.[1] Together, they independently produced three albums, "Dream Maker", "Lift Me", and "Millennial Child/Waiting For You". Multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Holly Brook started her first band at the age of fifteen after 'sneaking' into bars, working with jazz musicians including Jeff Eckles and Leo Sidran in Madison Wisconsin. Two years later, in 2003, Brook moved to Los Angeles and recorded a demo, which led to her being signed by Linkin Park guitarist Brad Delson to the band's vanity label, Machine Shop Recordings, in the fall of 2004. Holly's voice was featured on the Fort Minor song by Mike Shinoda "Where'd You Go" which won MTV VMA ringtone of the year award in 2006. Working with producer Jonathan Ingoldsby, Holly Brook released her debut album, Like Blood Like Honey, June 6, 2006. She landed opening spots for tours with well known acts including Jamie Cullum, KD Lang, Daniel Powter, Teddy Geiger, and Duncan Sheik, who soon invited her to join him in his sets. She continues to tour and work with Sheik on various projects.
