John Cameron Fogerty nacido el 28 de mayo de 1945, es líder de la famosa banda de rock and roll Creedence Clearwater Revival es guitarra principal, compositor y voz; está clasificado como uno de los 100 mejores guitarristas de toda la historia, se ubica en la posición 40 según la revista Rolling Stone. Actualmente sigue siendo compositor, pero como solista ha hecho algunas recopilaciones con temas de su banda anterior. Hermano de Tom Fogerty, guitarra rítmica hasta 1971 de la banda Creedence Clearwater Revival ya fallecido.
