Queen

Queen es una banda de rock británica formada en 1970 en Londres por el guitarrista Brian May, el cantante Freddie Mercury y el baterista Roger Taylor, con el bajista John Deacon quien se les unió al año siguiente. Tras la ruptura del grupo Smile en 1970, del cual provenían Taylor y May, decide unirse luego Mercury, poseedor de una voz con un registro poco común y un timbre excepcional para muchos. Al año siguiente, luego de buscar por un tiempo un bajista para la banda, aparece Deacon, quien sería el bajista definitivo de la banda, conformando así la formación definitiva del grupo Queen (nombre sugerido por Freddie Mercury) en la ciudad de Londres, Inglaterra en 1971. Es reconocida como la banda británica más exitosa de las últimas tres décadas.[1]
