D-Block is an American rap group founded in the mid 1990s by Sheek Louch, Jadakiss and Styles P as The Warlox or The L.O.X..[1] In 2001, the group changed their name from "The L.O.X." to "D-Block". They were rumored to be signed to Def Jam Records;[2] however, they have announced a successful deal with Interscope Records.[3] As The Lox, the group have two albums: Money, Power & Respect in 1998, which peaked at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and We Are The Streets in 2000. D-Block announced that they finally set to release new album titled Prepare for Glory in November 2008 on Babygrande Records.[4]
